What Are Services Like?
Saturday nights have a relaxed atmosphere with warm, friendly people to welcome you. You will receive a Communication Card when you arrive to fill in and place in the visitor box.
After the service, we have some coffee and tea and fellowship. We would love to grab a cup of coffee with you and get to know you.
Saturday nights are a great time to connect in fellowship and grow in your faith. Here are the times of our service activities:
Prayer Meeting : 4:30pm
Worship Service: 5:00pm
What is the style of your worship services?
We are passionate about Jesus, our King, and His Kingdom. Our heart is to worship God with all we have and encounter His presence. We see many examples of worship in the Bible and we see many of those in our church. Some people like to raise their hands, close their eyes, kneel, or even come up to the front and worship. Others prefer to worship quietly in their seats.
Worshiping God is personal and it is up to each person how he or she worships God.
We are not just singing songs about God, but we are worshiping Him because we believe He is present in our gatherings and we simply love Him.
How Should I Dress?
At Free Life we are interested in you – not what you are wearing. You don’t need to worry about dressing up – or dressing down. Wear whatever is comfortable for you.
Are you new to FLC? Are you interested in learning more about who we are?
Welcome dinners are held bi-monthly on a Friday night at our church property for anyone interested in learning more about who we are, what we believe, and where we are headed. Check out our Events page for upcoming dates!
Come join some of our leaders for a great meal, hear the vision of the church and get a chance to ask questions. (NOTE: Childcare can be provided upon request, please include that in your RSVP).
Please RSVP to Michelle Ralph.
“Growing in God”
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me….” And that is our vision in Children’s Church: to provide them with a fun and safe environment where they can experience God in a way that is real to them. It is a place where they can develop a real, active, and passionate relationship with Jesus, receive the Word that it may take root, grow, and bear much fruit, and be inspired, trained, and equipped to walk in the Spirit.
It is our privilege to serve you and your children. If you have any queries, concerns, or comments, please do not hesitate to come and talk with us.
Children’s Church Leader
Registration for children starts at 4:45pm, fifteen minutes before the main service begins. Each child will be given a name tag and number each week. Parents are given a corresponding number card. Should you need to be called during the service, your child’s number will flash on the projector screen.
All the children begin together in the Children’s Area for welcome, worship and snack*, before separating and going to their own classrooms.
Seedlings: 1 - 3 years
Leader: Julie D’Ascanio
This is a fun and inviting atmosphere where the little ones can play with toys, puzzles and books with other children their age, after enjoying a time of worship with the older children.
Sprouts: 3 (bathroom independant) - 7 years
Leader: Alyssa Kruszyna
This is a structured class where the children come together to hear stories from the Bible, learn about who God is and what He has done, and do crafts, games, activities and songs.
Saplings: 8 - 11 years
Leader: Sarah Brown
An interactive group, where fun, bible stories, crafts and games are woven together as part of learning truths from the bible and figuring out how to apply them to young lives.
*Snacks include a juice for Sprouts and Saplings, and we ask parents of Seedlings to provide a bottle or closed cup with drink for their child(ren). All food items are dairy, egg, and nut free. Parents of Seedlings can check with the team on duty if their child(ren) can have the snack (usually Welch’s Fruit Snack, Roll Ups, or apple sauce), or provide their own (allergy free)..
