Jesus said, “A new commandment I give you, that you love one another, just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
– John 13:34-35
Why Care Team is Important
The Care Team at FLC is structured to be able to offer care to church members in time of critical need. We can act as an overflow source for Life Groups who are offering crisis care to a member, or we can act as a primary source of care for someone who is not yet a member of a Life Group.
The Care Team at FLC has a vision of sharing Christ’s love with one another by caring for one another in times of critical need. Our hope and vision is:
The recipients of care will be blessed and loved;
Members with generous, compassionate hearts and willing hands will have a way to serve the Lord through caring for others;
There is a far-reaching effect by enabling witnesses of our commitment and care to one another to come to know Jesus’ love through the example we set within our church family.

The Care Team Offers…
We assist Life Groups in aiding families in times of illness, new babies or other temporary reasons they are not able to provide their own meals. The Ability to provide these services will depend on the resources we have available.
Care & Repair
This team has members who are handy around the house and are willing to help members of the congregation who are elderly, sick or unable to perform an urgent or necessary household task.
Homes & Hospital Visits
This service seeks to follow up with those who are ill, elderly or widowed, in the hospital or in their home. Someone will be designated to contact you to offer prayer and encouragement.
